Helldivers 2 Update 01.003.200 Brings Weapon Tweaks, Mission Fixes, and Major Enemy Adjustments

The latest update for Helldivers 2, version 01.003.200, introduces several balance changes focused on player control, weapon effectiveness, and enemy behavior. Adjustments include reduced ragdoll recovery time for Helldivers, increased damage from chest injuries, and notable tweaks to both primary and secondary weapons. Throwables and stratagems also received balance updates, making them more effective against larger enemy types while reducing unintended effects such as excessive stagger on players.

Additionally, the update addresses multiple mission issues, including improved enemy pathing and interaction with key objectives. Several technical fixes have been implemented, resolving problems with first-person view, visual obstructions, and game performance. These changes aim to enhance both gameplay balance and overall player experience in missions and combat scenarios.

 

Full Patch Notes:

  • General Balancing
    • Helldiver regains control after ragdolling reduced from 0.8 to 0.5 seconds
    • Chest injury bleed damage increased from 1 to 10
  • Weapon Balancing
    • CQC-1 One True Flag: Can now be planted directly into enemies
    • AR-32 Pacifier: Stun duration increased to 3 seconds, starting magazines increased to 6, max magazines to 8, and stun value slightly increased
    • SMG-72 Pummeler: Stun duration increased to 3 seconds, stun value slightly increased
    • ARC-12 Blitzer: Stun value slightly increased
    • R-2124 Constitution: Bayonet stagger strength increased from 20 to 25
    • R-2 Amendment: Bayonet stagger strength increased from 20 to 25
    • P-92 Warrant: Now locks-on to Large sized enemies
  • Throwables
    • G-109 Urchin: Stagger strength increased from 0 to 50, now affects Large sized enemies
    • G-10 Incendiary: Longer fire duration due to increased fuel
    • G-13 Incendiary Impact: Longer fire duration due to increased fuel
  • Stratagems
    • A/FLAM-40 Flame Sentry: Fire resistance increased to 95 percent, cooldown reduced to 100 seconds
    • GL-52 De-Escalator: Slight stun value increase
  • Boosters
    • Firebomb Hellpod: Now affects Hellpod default explosion, stagger strength reduced from 80 to 15, demolition strength reduced from 40 to 20
    • Stun Pods: Now affects Hellpod default explosion, stagger strength reduced from 80 to 15, demolition strength reduced from 40 to 20
  • Enemies
    • Large to Massive enemies are now easier to ignite
    • Terminid Warrior: Gib damage increased from 500 to 750
    • Automaton Scout Strider: Leg armor decreased from 3 to 2, leg durability resistance increased
    • Illuminate Overseer Variants: Unarmored torso armor decreased from 2 to 1
  • Fixes
    • Weapons, Stratagems, Boosters: Fixed R-2124 Constitution audio, Gunslinger passive speed, and weapon grips
    • Enemies: Corrected status effect damage application
    • Missions: Fixed stratagem use on certain objectives, improved enemy pathing, resolved inaccessible terminals and drop-off points
    • Miscellaneous: Fixed first-person view obstructions, map generation issues, fall animations, Bengali font support, enemy model quality, controller interaction issues, chat exit weapon issues, aiming during emotes, and first-person exit problems

Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released on 8 February 2024 for PlayStation 5 and Windows, it became a critical and commercial success with over 15 million copies sold. The game is set to launch on Xbox Series X and S on 26 August 2025, featuring full cross-platform play.
