According to the rating page, Hi-Fi Rush has received a PEGI 12 rating because it features moderate violence and use of bad language, and is therefore not suitable for persons under 12 years of age. With regards to specific rating-related highlights, the game features a moderate degree of violence. One cinematic scene features a sequence in which a character is put in a choke hold. Other violence is milder, including people being hit, kicked and shoved, without blood or injuries. Reactions, including in boss battles, are unrealistic feature characters flashing when being hit. There is also infrequent use of bad language.

On November 14, 2025, Krafton took over publishing and service operations for Hi-Fi Rush from Bethesda Softworks. The transition brought a shift in management for the rhythm action title nearly two years after its initial release. According to the announcement, the transition affects administrative and operational responsibilities rather than the game’s core content. Store page materials, including images and descriptions, have been updated to reflect Krafton’s new role. Bethesda Softworks is no longer be responsible for service support.

An in-game update took place in December 4, 2025, which revised visual and back-end elements to align with the new operator. The change had no effect on gameplay progression or player data. Save files, achievements, and general account information carried over without interruption. Krafton has directed players to a dedicated support portal for assistance following the transition.

Hi-Fi Rush is currently available for Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PlayStation 5.
