The Lenovo Legion Go 2 appears to have received a price increase, according to information shared by deals tracker Wario64.

Posting on social media, Wario64 stated, “Legion Go 2 prices have gone up ($1,499.99 / $1,999.99),” indicating updated pricing for the handheld gaming PC’s configurations. The reason behind the adjustment has not been officially confirmed.

The updated pricing was spotted on Best Buy. The price has increased by as much as $499.99 in some cases.

The Legion Go 2 is positioned as a premium handheld device, featuring an 8.8-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1200p resolution. It is powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor based on Zen 5 architecture, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 74Wh battery. The system also retains detachable controllers and a built-in kickstand, alongside a dedicated FPS mode.

Lenovo offers both Windows 11 and a SteamOS variant, the latter designed to provide a more console-like experience for users focused on Steam. Prior to this reported increase, the SteamOS model was sold for around $1,199, placing the device well above competitors like the Steam Deck OLED and the ASUS ROG Ally lineup.

With the updated figures of $1,499 and $1,999 now circulating, the Legion Go 2 further cements its position at the higher end of the handheld gaming market, though Lenovo has yet to publicly address the pricing change.
