Hobbs and Shaw Movie Poster Is Out Ahead Of First Trailer

Hobbs and Shaw is a Fast and Furious spin-off bringing these two classic characters back into their own movie. The first poster for the movie dropped today giving the fans a glimpse at the concept for the film.

Hobbs and Shaw will star Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, who will reprise their roles from the Fast and Furious franchise in a spin-off movie. Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that he won’t be taking part in the upcoming Fast and Furious 9 movie so Hobbs and Shaw will serve as a stop-gap in the meanwhile.

Hobbs and Shaw will be directed by David Leitch who rose to fame with John Wick. He also worked on Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde.

The poster gives us a first look at the dynamic duo who remain the highlight of the Fast and Furious franchise. They carry a certain tension despite being partners in crime and the comedic angle of their relationship never gets old. They also resulted in some of the most intense action set pieces in a Fast and Furious film.

The poster shows Hobbs sitting on a hog with matching clothes while Shaw also similarly leans back against a sleek looking sports car that matches his outfit.

Hobbs and Shaw will get its first trailer at the upcoming Super Bowl on February 3rd. The movie will be out in theatres on August 2, 2019, in the United States.
