The Quarry is a 2022 interactive drama horror game developed by Supermassive Games and published by 2K. Players take on the roles of nine teenage counselors attempting to survive their final night at Hackett’s Quarry summer camp, where they face supernatural creatures and hostile locals. The choices players make throughout the game have a significant impact on character development, relationships, the storyline, and the game’s outcome. Depending on these decisions, any of the nine playable characters can either survive or meet their demise.
The game draws inspiration from teen slasher and monster films like Friday the 13th and The Thing, and it’s considered a spiritual successor to Until Dawn. It boasts a notable ensemble cast, including Brenda Song, David Arquette, Halston Sage, Ted Raimi, Ariel Winter, Ethan Suplee, Lance Henriksen, Lin Shaye, Justice Smith, and Grace Zabriskie.
