Insider Says Multiple Switch 2 Ports Could Appear at February Partner Showcase

by Ali Haider

Reliable insider Nate the Hate has outlined a list of upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 ports that may appear during the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase scheduled for February 5, 2026. The discussion took place during a recent podcast appearance on YouTube, where Nate the Hate shared expectations surrounding third-party announcements for the roughly 30-minute broadcast.

Nintendo has already confirmed that the presentation will focus on third-party titles for both Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch, with no emphasis on first-party projects. This positioning aligns closely with the insider’s list, which centers almost entirely on partner-published games.

From Atlus, Metaphor ReFantazio was repeatedly described as a strong expectation and framed as the publisher’s primary Switch 2 announcement for the event. For Bandai Namco, Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is positioned as very likely, with the Direct seen as an opportunity to reintroduce the title with improved performance and a confirmed release date.

Bloober Team’s Project M is described as a likely debut candidate, based on active teasing and earlier statements about working on a Nintendo-focused game. Capcom is expected to feature Monster Hunter Wilds in a Switch 2 edition, supported by leaks, datamining, and overall timing. Pragmata is also expected to appear in some form, potentially tied to a demo announcement or limited presence.

CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3 Switch 2 Edition is framed as a realistic and probable port rather than a speculative wish. On the Microsoft and Xbox side, Indiana Jones is treated as close to a lock, mainly for a Switch 2 release date. Call of Duty, likely an older entry such as Black Ops 7, is considered likely due to timing constraints and public statements about the franchise coming to Switch 2. South of Midnight, already announced for Switch 2, is expected to receive additional coverage or a release date.

Sega is anticipated to continue its pattern of bringing Yakuza or Like a Dragon titles to Nintendo platforms through a new port. Square Enix’s lineup is expected to include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for Switch 2 with a trailer and release date, as well as The Adventures of Elliot, which was recently ESRB rated.

Additional third-party titles mentioned include Orbitals, treated as effectively confirmed due to leaked developer presence, and Expedition 33, which is framed as making strong sense for the showcase.
