Kena: Bridge of Spirits PC vs. PS5 vs. PS4 Comparison: Which Platform Is The Best?

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a PlayStation console exclusive that is also available on PC, so which platform is the best for this new game?

If you are opting to buy Kena: Bridge of Spirits, you will need to purchase it on PC through the Epic Games Store and not Steam. For users on the PlayStation consoles, they don’t have to ponder over their purchase since it is a cross-generation product. The game is playable on the PS4 and PS5. If you want the best possible experience, which is in 60 FPS, PS5 is the ideal platform.

The visual difference between the PS4 and PS5 is not that huge. It is like the visual difference between the PC and PS5. You get a few more bells and whistles like better shadows, more detailed character models, and so on. But on a general level, the game looks great no matter the platform. The difference exists in the performance.

On PC, you can run at a higher frame rate. The same applies to the PS5 that has a performance and fidelity mode. The former runs at 60 FPS with upscaled 4K, which is a dynamic resolution. The latter runs at native 4K. The difference here is between 30 to 60 FPS.

If you have the resources to run the game maxed out on PC, you can opt for it. The PS5 version itself is not that bad and in fact, it is a solid port and a good game that is worth giving a shot. If you are stuck with a PS4 or PS4 Pro, it is not a bad experience. You get 1080p resolution and 30 FPS but the game still looks fine.

The bottom line is that this is a pretty good port on all platforms. Ember Lab has done a wonderful job on bringing it to PC and PlayStation consoles. You can grab the game on either of these platforms for $39.99.
