The Kingdom Hearts Collection on PS5 will only feature Platinum trophies for three of its included games, leaving the rest of the series without the top-tier trophy reward.
The collection brings together the games from Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III with its Re Mind DLC. While the release consolidates the Dark Seeker Saga into a single package, its trophy lists haven’t been given a Platinum for every game.
Platinum trophies are available for Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and Kingdom Hearts III. The remaining games included in the collection don’t have their own Platinum trophies.
The decision is likely to disappoint trophy hunters who were hoping the full collection would offer a Platinum for each major game. The original PlayStation 3 releases of the HD collections were also known for demanding trophy requirements, while their PlayStation 4 versions made completion more manageable by stacking difficulty trophies.
The Kingdom Hearts Collection is scheduled to release in October 2026 on PlayStation 5, alongside versions for Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
