Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX is now available on Nintendo Switch, giving players access to six Kingdom Hearts titles in a single collection. The collection launched today, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version also available separately.
The collection includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days as an HD cutscene compilation, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded as an HD cutscene compilation.
Square Enix describes Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX as a collection covering the first six stories in the series. Players can wield the Keyblade while traveling through Disney worlds and fighting against the forces of darkness.
The Nintendo Switch version requires 53.8 GB of storage, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version has the same 53.8 GB file size.
Players should check which version they’re purchasing, as Square Enix currently has no plans to offer an upgrade from the Nintendo Switch version to the Nintendo Switch 2 version. Save data can be transferred from the Nintendo Switch version to the Nintendo Switch 2 version, but the reverse transfer isn’t supported.
Owners of the existing Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX cloud version on Nintendo Switch are eligible for a 50% discount on the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
