The rumored LEGO Horizon Adventures game will launch simultaneously on the PS5 and PC, based on the latest report.
According to Dealabs, which is known for leaking games that are scheduled to be added to a variety of game subscription services, the rumored LEGO Horizon Adventures will be released day one on both PS5 and PC. It will therefore not be a staggered release like the single-player first-party PlayStation titles. The source claims that Sony Interactive Entertainment is the game’s publisher.
Furthermore, it is stated that LEGO Horizon Adventures will officially be announced on June 8, 2024. Given the time frame, the game is expected to be revealed at the forthcoming Summer Game Fest, which will begin on June 7, 2024. In addition, pre-orders for LEGO Horizon Adventures are expected to go live immediately after the announcement. As such, the reveal trailer at the event will likely feature actual gameplay footage. The game’s release date is not yet known by the source, though we won’t have to wait long in order to find out.
As its title implies, LEGO Horizon Adventures will be an action-adventure game. It can either be played solo on in co-op mode. The latter will supports crossplay between PS5 and PC. According to Dealabs, the game will be available for retail in a Standard edition as well as a Deluxe edition, though the official title of the latter edition as well as pricing of either edition are not yet known.
Much like some of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s other upcoming releases on PC, such as Until Dawn, Concord, and God of War Ragnarok, LEGO Horizon Adventures is said to require a PlayStation Network (PSN) account. As such, this means that the game will not be available in over 170 countries on the platform. It is also mentioned that LEGO Horizon Adventures will include in-app purchases, though, as of writing, no further details in this regard are available.
