The Lenovo Legion Go 2 appears to have received a price increase, according to information shared by deals tracker Wario64.
Posting on social media, Wario64 stated, “Legion Go 2 prices have gone up ($1,499.99 / $1,999.99),” indicating updated pricing for the handheld gaming PC’s configurations. The reason behind the adjustment has not been officially confirmed.
The Legion Go 2 is positioned as a premium handheld device, featuring an 8.8-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1200p resolution. It is powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor based on Zen 5 architecture, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 74Wh battery. The system also retains detachable controllers and a built-in kickstand, alongside a dedicated FPS mode.
Lenovo offers both Windows 11 and a SteamOS variant, the latter designed to provide a more console-like experience for users focused on Steam. Prior to this reported increase, the SteamOS model was expected to start at around $1,199, placing the device well above competitors like the Steam Deck OLED and ASUS ROG Ally lineup.
With the updated figures of $1,499 and $1,999 now circulating, the Legion Go 2 further cements its position at the higher end of the handheld gaming market, though Lenovo has yet to publicly address the pricing change.
