Little Devil Inside Rises From The Dead With New Gameplay and Dev Progress Update

by Ali Haider

Neostream Interactive, the developers of Little Devil Inside, has released a new gameplay trailer called “Despite All.” Along with the trailer, the team shared a personal message on their Kickstarter page describing their development journey and the challenges they have faced.

The message starts with a reflection on the company’s origins, the dream of two brothers, which turned into a full-fledged team and a growing company with the support of backers. However, the development journey was not without its hurdles. The update candidly acknowledges the turnover of many talented individuals who contributed to the project but ultimately pursued different paths, highlighting the difficulties in reconciling diverse goals and visions within the team.

In their heartfelt message, Neostream expressed regret for any shortcomings in embracing these differences, extending sincere apologies to their supporters. The developers have now refocused their efforts around a smaller, tightly-knit team with a unified goal: to deliver a great game. The update reassures backers and fans that the founding members remain committed to fulfilling the promises made at the outset of the project.

Little Devil Inside originated as a Kickstarter pitch and soon afterward, it appeared to have secured some sort of publishing deal with Sony. It remains unclear what the developers have planned for the launch of the game ahead, but it was last seen in a Gameplay Showcase that Sony had planned for the PS5. It was listed as a PS4 and PS5 console timed exclusive.

Little Devil Inside invites players to delve into a world where the supernatural intertwines with the everyday. Players take on the role of explorers hired by a university professor to research and investigate paranormal activities. The game promises a rich blend of risky missions, side quests, and unexpected events, set against a backdrop of industrial progress and mysterious life forms. It is currently slated to launch on unspecified platforms but was originally planned to release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
