Dragami Games’ upcoming action adventure hack-and-slash game, Lollipop Chainsaw RePoP, will receive updated physics in order to bring them closer to those seen in the original title.
Yoshimi Yasuda, game designer at Dragami Games, took to Twitter/X to share details on the studio’s efforts to fix bugs in the upcoming remaster. He mentioned that the development team has made adjustments to Lollipop Chainsaw RePoP in order to bring the behavior of the KAWAII PHYSICS used in Unreal Engine 5 closer to those seen in the original game.
The game designer mentioned that the aforementioned changes will will be completed by the end of this week, though the time it takes for it to become available on each platform will vary. He encouraged fans to keep an eye on his Twitter/X for when the update will be rolled out for each platform.
Furthermore, Yasuda stated that the fix for comic-style character intros on Xbox is complete, and an update has been rolled out on the platform. He mentioned that the development team will fix all additional bugs as well. In order achieve this as soon as possible, he expects players to cooperate by providing information such as videos or locations where the bugs occur. Additionally, he assured players that the development schedule for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Lollipop Chainsaw RePoP will not affected by the bug fixing process.
Lastly, the game designer mentioned that Dragami Games has already submitted a price request for the Steam version that takes into account the specifics of each region around the world. As such, he requested potential buyers to wait for an announcement regarding the price once approval has been received from Valve. He also mentioned that the studio has a license agreement for a physical release in Europe, but it has not received any information from its partner regarding the release schedule. Yasuda said that he will keep his followers posted as the European release schedule is confirmed.
