Fans of Konami and Virtuos’ upcoming remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, titled Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, have attempted to “fix” the character model for The Boss.

A few days ago, we had reported that fans had a mixed reception to some of the character models featured in Meal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in comparison to those found in the original Metal Gear Solid 3, particularly in relation to the character of The Boss. One such fan took it upon themself to “fix” her face model by coming up with a version of their own. The individual, Reddit user , shared a comparison with their modified version of The Boss’ face, stating that it features her original jawline.

Indeed, the jawline seen in the edited face model for The Boss closely resembles that of the original character from Metal Gear Solid 3. Furthermore, certain changes were made to the shape of her eyes as well as her eyebrows in the edited model to match the features in the original version of the character.

Character faces in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater tend to look faithful in some cases, while quite different in others, as is the case with the character of The Boss. We believe that developer Virtuos is entitled to its own artistic interpretation of the original PS2 stealth action game from decades ago.

As apparent from the recent trailer, the overall color tone in the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is quite different from the original, which has a green-ish yellow tint. Though, fans need not worry, as those who prefer the original color tone can opt for it in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The game will include the option to enable a filter to bring things more in line with the color tone of the original.
