The announcement was shared through the studio’s official social media channels, where the team stated, “Mina the Hollower has officially gone GOLD!” The message continued, “The game is complete and has begun the submissions process with our first-party partners. We’ll know the release date soon and as soon as we can share it, you’ll know it.”
While a final release date has not yet been confirmed, the game is currently scheduled for a 2026 launch. The submission process typically marks the final stage before certification and distribution across platforms.
Mina the Hollower is an action-adventure title developed and published by Yacht Club Games, known for Shovel Knight. The game will be available on a wide range of platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.
Set in a gothic, Victorian-inspired world, the game follows Mina, a mouse inventor exploring a cursed island. Its gameplay centers around a distinctive burrowing mechanic that allows players to move underground to avoid enemies and navigate environmental hazards, paired with a retro visual style inspired by Game Boy Color-era titles.
