Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Wilds will receive Hotfix 1.021.01.00 to address a critical crash issue affecting all platforms. Under certain conditions, the game may crash if a player faints and returns to camp during Fast Travel or a quest. Once the update is released, all online sessions will be interrupted, and players will be required to update to the latest version to continue playing online.
Alongside this fix, Steam has resolved a separate crash-on-startup issue caused by its In-Game Overlay feature for users in the Steam Client Beta. The hotfix follows the recent 1.021 update, which introduced tempered monsters, new appraisal items, and major weapon balance changes, alongside system stability improvements.
