More Games Set To Leave PS Plus Extra and Premium in October 2025

Sony is preparing to rotate more titles out of its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog later this month. The company has confirmed that six games will be removed from the subscription service on October 21, 2025. This update expands on an earlier announcement that listed four games, with two additional titles now set to depart.

The full lineup of games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium includes Battlefield 1, Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition, Tour de France 2023, House of Ashes from The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Devil In Me also from The Dark Pictures Anthology, and The Last Clockwinder.

Battlefield 1, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, remains one of the most celebrated installments in the long-running franchise. Its World War I setting, cinematic single-player campaign, and large-scale multiplayer battles for up to 64 players made it stand out at launch and still hold appeal for fans who value immersive historical shooters.

Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition offers a different experience with its asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer format. Inspired by the beloved movie franchise, players either join the Ghostbusters team to hunt down specters or assume the role of a mischievous ghost, creating dynamic and often unpredictable matches.

Sports fans will also see the departure of Tour de France 2023, a cycling simulation developed by Cyanide and published by Nacon. The game lets players take on the role of professional cyclists, manage teams, and participate in realistic racing events. It includes career modes such as Pro Leader and Pro Team, designed to replicate the challenges of the iconic competition.

On a quieter note, The Last Clockwinder provides a more contemplative virtual reality puzzle experience. It centers around repairing a massive tree-bound clocktower by creating looping “clockwork clones” of the player’s actions. Praised for its inventive mechanics and calming storytelling, it will also exit the library later this month.

With six titles confirmed for removal, October 21 is shaping up to be a key rotation date for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. Those hoping to experience any of these games are advised to do so before they are withdrawn from the catalog.
