MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has surpassed 1 million players across all platforms, developer Fumi Games has announced.
Sharing the milestone on social media, the studio said: “MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has officially reached over 1 million players across all platforms!”
The developer also thanked fans for their support, adding: “A handcrafted tale born of ink, sweat, and stubborn dreams. From the bottom of our grinning hearts, thank you so much for all of your support.”
Released on April 16, 2026, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Published by PlaySide Studios, the single-player first-person shooter blends fast-paced gunplay with detective-style investigations in a monochromatic world inspired by 1930s rubber hose animation and noir films.
Players take on the role of Jack Pepper, a hardboiled mouse detective investigating the crime-ridden city of Mouseburg, balancing explosive combat with puzzle-solving and clue gathering throughout the adventure.
