Microsoft has confirmed that they are working on a fix for the NBA 2K22 launch issue that leads to the game crashing or the console shutting off.

There doesn’t appear to be a patch that has resolved this issue, but it is possible that one might be deployed soon. You can expect to see this happening sometime next week.
