South Korean game developer NCSoft Corporation has registered a domain for a new project, possibly the previously rumored MMO title set in Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games’ Horizon universe.

Twitter user Kurakasis has reported that NCSoft registered a domain for a new project on December 5, 2023, which could possibly be the previously rumored MMO title set in Guerrilla Games’ Horizon universe. The domain name is “landofsalvation.ing”, suggesting that the game has the words “Land of Salvation” in its title.

The domain, landofsalvation.ing, was registered on the same day as domains for NCSoft’s already announced projects, such as projectg.ing, puzzupamitoi.ing/puzzup.ing, and lll.ing (Project LLL). There is also ncing.ing, the company’s “open R&D” initiative.

Recently, NCSoft and Sony had announced a strategic partnership, with the companies set to collaborate in various global business fields, including mobile. The two companies are evaluating a range of potential opportunities with an aim to foster strategic synergy, leveraging NCSOFT’s technological prowess and SIE’s global leadership in the entertainment field.

“This partnership with SIE is the beginning of our efforts to build various synergies together, utilizing both companies’ core competencies, technological capabilities, and expertise:’ said Taekjin Kim, President and CEO at NCSOFT. He added, “We will deliver a new and enjoyable experience to our audience across and beyond genres and regions.”

“Partnering with NCSOFT advances our strategy to expand beyond console and broaden PlayStation’s reach to a wider audience,” said Jim Ryan, President and CEO, SIE. “Like SIE, NCSOFT shares a similar vision in creating high-quality, impactful entertainment experiences for players everywhere, and together we’re excited to collaborate to push the boundaries of gaming further.”

Previously, during a Develop: Brighton talk, Guerrilla Games studio director Jan-Bart van Beek confirmed that the Horizon series is set to continue for a very long time, and that the studio is also going to be working on a multiplayer co-op game. He termed the project as a massive shift for the development team that is almost on the same level as working on the first entry, Horizon Zero Dawn.
