Atlus has announced that Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027, revealing the release date alongside a new pre-order trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026.
The announcement finally gives fans a concrete launch date for the long-awaited remake of Persona 4. Atlus accompanied the reveal with a brief message referencing one of the original game’s most memorable mysteries, stating, “You ever heard… of the Midnight Channel? Mark your calendars – Persona 4 Revival goes on air February 18th, 2027!”
The publisher also confirmed that the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Xbox on PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. In addition, it will be included with Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Developed by P-Studio and published by Atlus, Persona 4 Revival is a ground-up remake of the acclaimed 2008 role-playing game. The project modernizes the original experience with updated visuals, redesigned character models, and enhanced gameplay systems while retaining the core story and setting.
The game follows a group of high school students in the rural town of Inaba as they investigate a string of mysterious murders connected to a supernatural realm accessible through television screens. As in the original release, players will balance everyday school life with dungeon exploration and battles against otherworldly threats.
