Persona 6 will receive physical releases on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, according to an updated Japanese product description from Sega. The listing specifically states that “Physical versions are planned for release on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.”
The updated product description provides one of the clearest indications yet that physical editions are being prepared for both platforms. Atlus has not provided additional information about the physical versions, including their contents or whether the Switch 2 version will use a Game Key Card or an actual game cartridge.
Persona 6 is the next mainline entry in Atlus’ long-running role-playing franchise and follows the global success of Persona 5. The series combines turn-based dungeon exploration with a daily life system in which players manage school activities, relationships, and supernatural battles.
Persona 6 is planned as a multiplatform release, with the game scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Windows PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass, and Nintendo Switch 2.
