Phantom Blade Zero Reportedly Won’t Get a PS5 Disc Release

Phantom Blade Zero reportedly won’t receive a physical PS5 release, with retailer Play-Asia confirming that it removed the game’s listing after being informed that no physical edition would be available.

The retailer confirmed the information in an email to a customer asking about a physical PS5 copy. Play-Asia said it had been informed that a physical edition wasn’t planned and had therefore removed the product from its store.

“Upon checking, we understand that you’re asking about Phantom Blade Zero for PS5. Kindly note that the item has already been removed from our listing, as we have been informed that there will not be a physical edition available,” Play-Asia said.

The retailer apologised for the news and acknowledged that customers had been hoping to purchase a physical copy of the game.

S-GAME has not yet officially announced details about a physical release for Phantom Blade Zero. Play-Asia’s response therefore provides an indication of the current plans, but the developer or publisher would need to confirm the situation officially.

Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC. The action RPG combines dark wuxia themes with fast-paced combat, following an assassin named Soul who has only 66 days to live while pursuing revenge and answers.
