PlayStation First-Party Games On PC Get A Major Visual Update

A lot of the first-party games published by PlayStation on PC have been updated today to add support for AMD FSR 3.1.

PlayStation has been quite vocal about supporting their games on PC and they have even made studio acquisitions solely to improve the quality of their PC ports. A lot of their first-party games were updated today to add support for AMD FSR 3.1. The games that were updated include Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Forbidden West.

Ghost of Tsushima now integrates AMD FSR 3.1 to enhance upscaling quality, reduce flickering, and preserve better detail. Furthermore, the update addresses the HDR Max Luminance slider issue, no longer limiting it to 1000 nits, and enhances the Legends co-op multiplayer matchmaking experience.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has also embraced AMD FSR 3.1, providing improved frame generation and upscaling quality. The update introduces a Native AA option for high-quality anti-aliasing without upscaling and updates Intel XeSS to version 1.3, further refining image quality and adding new anti-aliasing options.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart benefits from the addition of AMD FSR 3.1, enhancing both frame generation and upscaling quality. The update also introduces a Native AA option and updates Intel XeSS to version 1.3. Additionally, an issue with bullet hole decals not appearing on surfaces has been resolved.

Similarly, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has integrated AMD FSR 3.1, providing frame generation, improved upscaling quality, and a Native AA option. Intel XeSS has been updated to version 1.3, enhancing image quality and adding a new anti-aliasing option.

Lastly, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition on PC has received Patch 1.5, incorporating AMD FSR 3.1 for enhanced performance. This patch includes frame generation and improved upscaling quality, as well as a Native AA option. Additional updates to the settings menu introduce new options for graphics and audio, and various performance optimizations have been made. The patch also improves audio for Logitech G HUB Surround Sound users, resolves several bugs, and includes user interface improvements.
