PlayStation Portal Update 6.0.0 Brings PS5 Cloud Streaming, 3D Audio, and Home Screen Redesign

Sony has released Version 6.0.0 for the PlayStation Portal, delivering a significant upgrade to the handheld streaming device. The highlight of this update is the introduction of PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium members, allowing users to play select PS5 games directly from their digital library without needing their console turned on. Additionally, players can now search cloud titles more easily, make purchases mid-stream, and join multiplayer sessions seamlessly from the quick menu.

Beyond streaming enhancements, the update refines the overall experience with a redesigned home screen, improved performance, and the addition of 3D audio support when using compatible headsets. Other improvements include the ability to check network status, send Remote Play feedback, and secure the device with a passcode.
