For the uninitiated, Nobody saves the World is an action role-playing dungeon crawling game developed and published by DrinkBox Studios. Initially launched for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in January 2022, the game later became available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in April 2022.
The gameplay involves controlling a character named Nobody, equipped with a wand, allowing transformation into 18 different forms, including magicians, robots, and dragons. Each form possesses two basic skills initially, with additional abilities unlocked as players progress. Forms also differ in stats and attributes, and combining their skills can result in powerful attacks. Some Forms share gameplay benefits once unlocked. Players explore procedurally generated overworlds and dungeons, completing quests and objectives to earn experience and Star currency. Stars are used to unlock legendary dungeons, which are filled with enemies, traps, and potential rewards like treasure chests and hidden keys. Notably, respawn points in dungeons are situated just before facing a boss encounter.
