Sony has released system software update 13.02 for the PlayStation 4. This latest patch focuses on security fixes, making it a relatively minor update when compared to previous feature-rich firmware versions. Just like the PS5, the update reinforces system protection and stability.
Sony’s continued support for the PS4 highlights the company’s focus on maintaining a secure environment for its large player base. Even though the PS4 has seen various exploits in the past, Sony remains committed to protecting its ecosystem, particularly given the console’s active community and strong commercial performance.
