ATLUS has officially unveiled the launch trailer for RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army, setting the stage for its highly anticipated release on June 19, 2025. The remaster revisits the cult classic Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, updating its visuals, audio, and gameplay systems for modern platforms while preserving the charm and depth that long-time fans remember.
In anticipation of the launch, ATLUS has also scheduled a special livestream event on June 18 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. This broadcast will offer fresh updates about the game, the announcement of winning in-game titles from the Player Title Campaign Promotion, appearances by special guests, and a segment featuring Kazuyuki Yamai, the game’s director. Viewers can tune in via the ATLUS West YouTube channel or on Steam to join this commemorative event.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army will launch across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S. Players who pre-order will receive a special bonus item—the cosmetic Raidou Glasses—which will only be available until midnight local time on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
This remaster reintroduces players to the story of Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, a young Devil Summoner and apprentice detective who investigates a mysterious case that swiftly escalates into a supernatural conspiracy threatening the entire nation. Set in the capital during the Taisho era, Raidou’s journey spans the real world and the eerie Dark Realm—a dimension where demons roam freely. Players can recruit and command over 120 demons in strategic real-time battles, using both human wit and demonic power to solve puzzles and combat enemies.
ATLUS has made several key improvements in this remaster. These include a redesigned user interface, enhanced 3D environments, quality-of-life adjustments, full voice acting, and an updated combat system. While these updates modernize the gameplay, they retain the unique atmosphere and storytelling of the original PlayStation 2 release.
