Rockstar Games has recently released update 1.32 for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Here’s what you need to know about it.
This update focuses on fixing issues players have encountered in Red Dead Online and improving game stability and performance across all platforms, with specific attention given to the PC version.
In Red Dead Online, the update addresses problems where Naturalist samples were not being counted towards Daily Challenges, fixes an issue in the “Dead of Night” mode where Night Stalkers could collect the Night Stalker mask improperly, and ensures that ambient vehicles appear as intended. Additionally, it resolves issues preventing the launch of Free Roam Missions, improves situations where players could become stuck when entering stables, and enhances the reliability of summoning horses and wagons.
A significant change in player interaction is the voice chat now being set to default off, aimed at refining the community experience.
The update also includes fixes for various issues that could cause the game to crash. The PC version receives specific improvements to address crash causes, failures to launch, and compatibility issues arising from Windows 11 updates that affected Offline Mode functionality.
It introduces technological enhancements, including HDR10+ GAMING support that automatically optimizes game graphics for HDR10+ GAMING displays on compatible graphics cards and monitors via HDMI. It also updates the AMD Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) libraries to version 2.2 and fixes a resolution issue that made 3200×2400 unavailable.
