Report Claims Major Nintendo Direct Planned for February 10

A new report circulating online suggests that Nintendo may be preparing a major Nintendo Direct presentation for February 10, 2026. The claim comes from French journalist BeeFuN, who stated that while no Nintendo Direct is planned for January, a significant broadcast is expected to take place in February. As with similar reports, this information is being treated with caution, as Nintendo has not made any official announcement.

According to BeeFuN, the rumored February presentation would be a large-scale Nintendo Direct focused on upcoming games scheduled for 2026. In a post shared on social media, BeeFuN said, “There will be no Nintendo Direct in January. However… In February, there will indeed be a huge Nintendo Direct featuring upcoming games for 2026, including the one everyone is waiting for: a new 3D Mario.” The journalist did not provide additional details or sources beyond this statement.

When asked about the report, known industry insider NateTheHate declined to support or dispute the claim. Responding publicly, he stated that he has nothing to share at this time. This neutral response neither confirms nor denies the existence of a February Nintendo Direct, leaving the situation unresolved for now.

The rumored February Direct is being described as potentially significant, particularly due to mentions of a new 3D Mario title. No standalone 3D Mario game has been officially announced in recent years, and BeeFuN claim has naturally drawn attention from fans awaiting the franchise’s next major entry.

At present, the report should be viewed strictly as unverified information. Nintendo has made no statements regarding a February Direct, and past rumors have varied in accuracy. Until an official announcement is made, the claim remains a matter of speculation, albeit one that has generated considerable interest among Nintendo fans watching closely for the company’s next move.
