Capcom has officially announced the Resident Evil Generation Pack, a new three-game bundle featuring Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and the upcoming Resident Evil: Requiem. The compilation is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop for $89.99, offering fans a cost-effective way to experience the complete modern Resident Evil saga on the Nintendo Switch 2 console.

The bundle serves as a comprehensive collection that traces the evolution of the series’ survival horror design from the franchise’s revival with Resident Evil 7 to its forthcoming new chapter, Resident Evil: Requiem. Capcom describes it as a “triple threat bundle featuring Resident Evil Requiem and two other chilling games,” combining the signature tension, atmosphere, and storytelling that define the modern era of the series.

Each title in the bundle will also include its Gold Edition content and expansions, providing the full experience without the need for additional purchases. The package includes:

  • Resident Evil Requiem – The newest entry in the franchise, introducing FBI agent Grace Ashcroft as she investigates a mysterious series of deaths that lead her back to the remnants of Raccoon City. Featuring both first-person and third-person gameplay, Requiem promises a “heart-stopping experience” blending advanced visuals and immersive storytelling.
  • Resident Evil 7 biohazard (Gold Edition) – The game that revived the series’ survival horror roots, following Ethan Winters as he attempts to escape the horrors of the Baker estate. The Gold Edition includes all major DLC expansions: Banned Footage Vol. 1 & 2, Not A Hero, and End of Zoe, along with bonus survival packs and difficulty options.
  • Resident Evil Village (Gold Edition) – Continuing Ethan’s journey, Village expands the scope of the narrative with gothic environments and psychological horror elements. This edition includes the Winters’ Expansion, Trauma Pack DLC, Street Wolf Outfit, Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm, and other digital bonuses.

Capcom has noted that players should verify individual store listings before purchase, as each game in the bundle can also be bought separately. The publisher further warns against duplicate purchases for those who already own previous editions of Resident Evil 7 or Village.

While the Generation Pack primarily targets newcomers ahead of Requiem’s release, it also serves as an opportunity for returning fans to experience the series in full continuity on a single platform. The inclusion of Resident Evil: Requiem—set to release on February 27, 2026—adds significant value to the bundle, offering access to the latest chapter in the saga on Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

At $89.99, the bundle is positioned as one of Capcom’s most competitively priced compilations in recent years. Considering the full content lineup and cross-generation optimization, the Resident Evil Generation Pack presents a convenient and cost-effective entry point for players eager to experience the franchise’s evolution from its claustrophobic roots to its modern cinematic form.

Pre-orders for the Resident Evil Generation Pack are live now on the Nintendo eShop, ahead of Requiem’s global launch early next year.
