The Day 30 update for Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on Nintendo Switch 2 focuses heavily on improving performance, stability, and overall gameplay. The patch addresses frame rate drops across several major locations, resolves crashes, and smooths out cinematic sequences to deliver a more consistent experience.
Alongside the performance improvements, Aspyr has fixed numerous gameplay, visual, UI, quest, and exploration issues while also introducing engine-level optimisations aimed at improving frame rates, reducing memory leaks, and polishing visual assets across key areas.

General Performance
- Fixed frame rate drops when returning to the Siberian Wilderness after completing the main story.
- Fixed frame rate drops when re-entering the western Village cabin in Geothermal Valley.
- Fixed performance drops while traversing the Baths of Kitezh.
- Fixed a performance dip when returning to Geothermal Valley from the North Acropolis.
- Fixed performance drops on the Village map during Expeditions and Remnant Resistance.
- Resolved frame rate drops after fast travelling from Whirlpool Sanctuary to Riverside Landing.
Cinematics and Sequences
- Fixed a frame rate drop during the new gun cinematic.
- Fixed a performance drop at the end of the Siberian Wilderness cutscene.
- Fixed a bug affecting the cutscene after the “Return to Camp and Build a Fire” objective.
- Resolved visibility lag during the mud tunnel slide sequence in the Flooded Archives.
- Fixed a stutter at the beginning of the Observatory objective cutscene.
- Corrected two performance drops during The Acropolis mission cutscene.
