Several new Ubisoft titles, including Star Wars Outlaws, are coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2025, based on a new rumor.

According to an individual who goes by the name Drinking Horchata (via Reddit user KekanKok),  Ubisoft and Microsoft’s partnership is stronger than ever, as The Crew Motorfest, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows are allegedly set to be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog as early as this year in 2025. They mentioned that it’s difficult to know which of the aforementioned titles will be the first to arrive on the subscription service, though they did learn that the announcement will happen sometime during late summer.

In addition, the source mentioned that Ubisoft is also looking to give Microsoft some game reveals for Xbox marketing, possibly with Splinter Cell Remake at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase on June 8, 2025.

Back in November, 2022, on the occasion of the series’ 20th anniversary, four developers working on the Splinter Cell remake sat down to discuss the lighting, visuals, player agency, and other aspects from earlier games that made them a success. According to them, the remake isn’t simply a visual facelift, but it goes well above what’s usually seen in remasters. It is being built from the ground up with brand new high quality assets, and the studio is doing all the content from scratch. The developer is aiming to create a top-tier remake to help it set a good foundation for the franchise going forward.

The studio has also explored new and innovative technology and gameplay related ideas for the remake, as well as features from previous Splinter Cell games that made them stand out. The AI is said to have received a considerable overhaul, and enemies will behave differently based on their skill and rank. For instance, a special forces soldier will scout areas using a more skilled approach compared to a regular security guard.
