The pre-load date and download size for Bokeh Game Studio’s upcoming survival horror game, Slitterhead, have been revealed.
PlayStationSize on Twitter/X has revealed the pre-load date and download size for Slitterhead on PS4 and PS5, courtesy of recent database entries made to PlayStation servers. The survival horror game will take up a reasonably modest amount of storage space. That said, those with limited available space on the internal storage drive are advised to clear up some space in advance. It goes without saying that storage expansion options are available for those who need them.

Pre-load Date
The pre-load schedule for Slitterhead on PS4 and PS5 can be seen below.
- Deluxe Edition: November 3, 2024
- Standard Edition: November 6, 2024
The pre-load for Slitterhead on PS4 and PS5 will come with the latest update pre-installed for anyone who pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, though a day one update may be rolled out closer to release on November 8, 2024. Meanwhile, those who purchased the game on disc will need to download the update. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe edition will get early access to the pre-load on November 3, 2025, and those who pre-ordered the Standard edition will be able to pre-load the game on November 6, 2024.
The review embargo for Slitterhead has yet to be revealed, though it is expected to be lifted close to launch on November 8, 2024.
Previously, during an interview, Slitterhead director Keiichiro Toyama had mentioned that the survival horror title will run at 4K with 60 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the PS4 version will run at 1080p and 30 fps. He said that the development team at Bokeh Game Studio didn’t want the game to only be playable on high-end PCs, but also on mid-range specs, which made it possible for it to be compatible with PS4 as well.
