Sniper Elite 5: How To Fix EAC Errors on PC
EAC errors can be problematic for fans of Sniper Elite 5 who are playing on PC. There’s usually a simple and easy fix for such errors. For starters, if EAC issues persist, it’s a good idea to go into the game folder and re-install Easy Anti-Cheat.
Another way to fix EAC errors in Sniper Elite 5 is by clicking on the settings wheel from the game launcher, and checking if the ‘Play with Easy Anti-Cheat’ option is enabled. If it isn’t enabled, tick the option and boot up the game to fix EAC errors in Sniper Elite 5.
If the ‘Play with Easy Anti-Cheat’ setting is enabled and you’re still getting EAC errors in Sniper Elite 5, click on the ‘Uninstall Easy Anti-Cheat’ button on the right-hand side, which should lead to a black window. Click ‘Yes’ on the next prompt and wait for it to re-install. From there, enable the ‘Play with Easy Anti-Cheat’ setting, and then boot up the game to fix EAC errors. This should fix any lingering EAC errors that you may have been encountering.
While the above fixes should work for Steam users, PC Game Pass users can try the following official fix for EAC errors on their platform.
As a short term solution, unticking 'Use EAC' in the options menu accessed via the cog, and running as admin via the start menu will allow access but please bear with us whilst we work through a longer term resolve.
Thank you for your patience!

For the uninitiated, Sniper Elite 5 is a third-person shooter much like its predecessors. The game offers numerous big stages, similar to Sniper Elite 4, that present players with various possibilities to infiltrate and extract. When a player kills an adversary with a sniper rifle from a great distance, the game’s camera follows the bullet from the sniper rifle to the victim, revealing body parts, bones, and internal human organs that have been fractured or punctured by the bullet. Weapons in the game may be heavily altered. The single-player campaign may be played with another person in cooperative mode. Invasion mode is a new feature in the game that allows a third player to join a game session and participate as an enemy sniper. There’s also a survivor mode that accommodates up to four players.
Finding all the workbench locations in Sniper Elite 5 can get rather mundane, needing a lot of back-tracking and looking around. If you’re looking to find them all, follow the link here.
