Sonic the Hedgehog is getting a Hollywood movie starring James Marsden and Jim Carrey. The first look at Sonic in the movie was leaked through a poster.
Earlier, we have covered a news around Sonic the Hedgehog and how its first poster looked. The poster only featured a silhouette of Sonic the Hedgehog, which made some question the nature of the reveal. The worst part was how it looked more like a human version of Sonic and with no face to view, it left everything to the imagination of the viewers.
Fast forward to today, and we have our first real look at an alleged Sonic in the upcoming movie. This comes courtesy of a leak that shows the movie poster but it might be an early version of the Sonic design. In the final poster, you can see that he has long legs, while in this leaked poster, the legs are quite short but the logo does match.
This was followed by another user sharing a picture of the logo along with the possible cast. While the design of Sonic might have changed by now, it does add some legitimacy to this early concept for the movie.
Sonic the Hedgehog will star James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Jim Carrey as Dr. Ivo Robotnik and lastly Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic. It will release in theatres on November 8, 2019.
Wonder why Roger Craig Smith was never even considered for the voice of Sonic… Guess Hollywood doesn’t care about people who have something to do with the actual character… No idea why I ever wanted a Metal Gear Solid movie – stupid ****s would’ve never casted Hayter anyway.
