Sony Implements Minor Adjustments To PS Plus Extra Lineup, Limits Soundfall To Specific Regions
Sony has implemented minor adjustments to May, 2023’s PS Plus Extra lineup, limiting Soundfall to specific regions.
Following the console maker’s announcement of the upcoming PS Plus Extra lineup for the month of May, there have been some changes in certain regions. Initially, Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town for PS4 was removed but has now been added once again. On the other hand, the availability of Soundfall has been restricted to specific regions.
The availability of Soundfall has now been limited to PS Plus Extra in the Japan and Asia regions. Those in North American and European regions will not see the title among the new additions to the catalog of games to play via the subscription service.
For those who missed it, the latest additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium will be available to subscribers starting from Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The list includes major titles, such as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Humanity, Watch Dogs: Legion, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and more.
One of the prominent additions to PS Plus Extra in May, 2023 is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a 2021 third-person shooter platform game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5. It is a follow-up to Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus and the ninth main entry in the Ratchet & Clank series. Rift Apart was released on June 11, 2021, after being announced in June 2020.
