A new hotfix, Update 10.1, has been released for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, addressing player feedback with meaningful adjustments and stability fixes. The most notable change is the increase in Accolade rewards for daily Stratagems, making them more rewarding to complete. Additionally, the recurring issue of the Trygon disappearing in Stratagem missions has now been resolved.
The patch also introduces a variety of balance tweaks to melee weapons in PvE, adjustments to Stratagem conditions, improvements to customization, and technical fixes. Alongside crash resolutions and localization updates, the developers continue to refine the gameplay experience while acknowledging known issues to be addressed in future updates.

Melee (PvE only)
- Power Axe
- Slash Momentum and Discharge perk placements switched
- Whirlwind attacks widened and damage increased by 50%
- Power Step attack damage increased by 66%
- Slash Momentum perk description now shows correct numbers
- Combat Knife
- Heroic Combat Knife “Power Gladius” bonus damage for perfect dodge increased to 120%
- Description remains incorrect: bonus damage applies to all attacks, not just light attacks
- Bulwark
- Shield Rush attack can no longer stun lock Terminus enemies
Stratagems
- Daily Stratagem rewards increased: Normal = 10, Hard = 15
- Suboptimal State Battlefield Condition HP penalty reduced from 75% to 66%
Multi-Melta
- Interval between shots enforced when transitioning to standing position
- Hip fire rate of fire increased from 35 to 50 rounds per minute
Customisation
- Numerous minor customization fixes
- Mark VIII Errant Helmet without decorations now available for purchase (Mark VII coming later)
- Ultramarines Champion Armour Parts correctly locked behind Champion Pack DLC

- Operation Vortex: Armoury Data correctly rewarded for killing the Vortex Beast
General Fixes
- Fixed bug causing Trygon Prime to leave boss arena in Stratagem mode
- Fixed Emperor’s Vengeance perk (Tactical) not restoring Melta Charges for Heroic Bolt Rifle (Combi-Melta)

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a third-person shooter and hack-and-slash action game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment.
