Nintendo has announced Splatoon Raiders, a new entry in the Splatoon series that shifts focus toward a single-player-driven experience. The game is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, with pre-orders available now through the Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store.

Splatoon Raiders introduces players to a new role as a mechanic exploring the Spirhalite Islands, a mysterious setting filled with hostile enemies and valuable resources. The gameplay centers on action-oriented combat and exploration, allowing players to customize both their appearance and loadout while taking on raids across the islands. Combat features a mix of mechanical gadgets and the series’ signature ink-based weaponry, as players battle Salmonids and collect loot.

While the experience is designed with solo play in mind, the game also includes multiplayer options. Players can team up with up to 3 others either online or through local wireless, adding a cooperative layer to the adventure.

Familiar faces from the Splatoon universe will also play a role, with Deep Cut members Frye, Shiver, and Big Man accompanying players throughout the journey. One of the trio will assist directly in combat using a specialized bot, contributing to the game’s mix of action and support mechanics.

In addition to the game’s release, Nintendo confirmed a new set of amiibo figures based on Deep Cut’s updated designs in Splatoon Raiders. These figures will be available alongside the game’s launch and are also open for pre-order.
