New comments from industry insider NateTheHate suggest that the rumored Star Fox title could be targeting a June 2026 release window, even as uncertainty remains around its official reveal. The information was shared on ResetEra, where the insider addressed ongoing speculation about the project.
Responding to discussion around the game, NateTheHate expressed strong confidence in its existence and timing, stating, “I have zero doubt in the StarFox project — hell, VGC and a French journalist have also spoken about the game and back the info of it coming in June.” He added that if the game is not announced within the previously expected April window, it would likely be due to a shift in Nintendo’s marketing plans, explaining, “If it doesn’t get revealed this month as planned, it simply means Nintendo made a marketing pivot and adjusted the timeline a touch.”
These remarks follow earlier statements from the same insider indicating that a reveal had been intended for April, potentially through the Nintendo Today app or a social media announcement rather than a full presentation. However, a more recent update noted that there was no new information to share regarding the timing of that reveal.
At this stage, Nintendo has not officially confirmed a new Star Fox game. While multiple sources have referenced the project, details surrounding its announcement and release remain unverified.
