Patch 9 for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor focuses on enhancing performance and addressing various quality of life improvements for PC players. The patch aims to provide a smoother gameplay experience by optimizing framerate for different hardware configurations and addressing issues related to framerate hitching. Notably, Ray Tracing has been optimized to scale better with high-end GPUs, improving the visual quality while reducing the load on CPUs. In addition, the update includes fixes for performance problems related to mouse input, ensuring better control during gameplay.

Quality of life improvements have also been implemented, particularly in optimizing the “Optimizing Game Files” screen, which now benefits from multi-core CPUs for faster processing. Mouse and keyboard functionality has been refined across multiple in-game menus, improving user interaction. Furthermore, several bugs, including collision issues and intermittent crashes, have been resolved.
