Star Wars Outlaws Update 1.6 Adds Free Blaster-Firing on Speeder and Trailblazer Upgrades

The latest update for Star Wars Outlaws, Title Update 1.6, brings notable gameplay enhancements and new content for players across all platforms. Among the major additions is the ability to free-fire Kay’s blaster while riding the speeder and the option to holster and swap between two-handed weapons and Kay’s primary firearm for smoother combat transitions. Space missions also receive significant upgrades, including the introduction of passive systems for the Trailblazer ship, which allow players to tailor their space combat strategies more precisely. Additionally, a fresh batch of space contracts featuring new challenge types and rewards has been rolled out for daring pilots.

Complementing the gameplay improvements, the update features a new cosmetic pack inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which is freely available to all players via the Trailblazer’s delivery crate. The patch also addresses numerous gameplay bugs and technical issues, such as AI behavior, weapon mechanics, animation glitches, and performance enhancements. Accessibility options have been expanded, offering more user-friendly settings, while various visual and audio inconsistencies have been resolved to improve the overall user experience.

Star Wars Outlaws is a 2024 action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game launched on August 30, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It is scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2025.
