Shift Up, the developer behind Stellar Blade, has released a new update, bringing the game to version 1.006.
Update 1.006 for Stellar Blade has brought a Photo mode, brand new summer suits for protagonist Eve, and more. Developer Shift Up has shared brand new screenshots via its Twitter/X account, showing off the summer costumes for Eve. Furthermore, in a separate tweet, it all but confirmed the arrival of the much anticipated Photo mode in the new update.

Patch notes for update 1.006 have yet to be released by developer Shift Up. Be sure to check back for a comprehensive list of features and bug fixes as it becomes available.
The prior major update for Stellar Blade was 1.004, which brought a host of new features, including two new outfits, a new hair slot in the menu, the option to toggle the “skip” UI for cutscenes, improved direction of jumps while swinging on ropes, the ability to speed up the scrolling of the end credits by holding down a button, the ability to retain costumes that players have previously selected during Boss challenges.
The development team at Shift Up has been aware that the community is looking forward to the availability of a photo mode in Stellar Blade. During a recent interview, Shift Up CEO Hyung-Tae Kim had said that the development team was very interested in implementing the feature. However, the studio wanted it to be done right, which required a little more time than expected. The team was looking into making the mode feature-rich. During the same press conference, the Shift Up CFO also revealed that sales of Stellar Blade had surpassed 1 million copies based on the company’s estimates.
