Geoff Keighley has officially revealed the dates and key events for Summer Game Fest 2026. Announced via X, the multi-day gaming showcase will run from June 5 through June 8, featuring a live presentation, media events, and an industry conference.

Keighley stated, “The stage is set for Summer Game Fest, June 5 to 8,” before outlining the schedule. The main live showcase will take place on Friday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. PT at the Dolby Theatre. The two-hour event will be held in front of a live audience and is set to feature new game announcements. It will be followed by Day of the Devs, which traditionally highlights independent titles.

From June 6 to June 8, SGF Play Days will be held for media and influencers. These sessions typically provide hands-on access to upcoming games and extended previews outside of the main broadcast. The event slate will conclude on June 8 with The Game Business Live conference.

Summer Game Fest has grown into a central mid-year showcase for the gaming industry. Organized and hosted by Keighley, the event blends large-scale announcements with curated indie segments, positioning itself as a key moment on the annual release calendar.

With the 2026 edition set for early June at a prominent Hollywood venue, publishers and developers are expected to use the platform to reveal new projects and updates. Additional details regarding participating partners and featured titles have not yet been announced.
