Supermassive Games Teases The Craven Man in New Dark Pictures Season 2 Secret Ending

Supermassive Games has seemingly teased the next entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology: Season Two through a newly discovered hidden teaser inside Directive 8020.

Unlike previous Dark Pictures previews, which typically appeared after the credits, the latest teaser is reportedly locked behind five hidden collectibles known as the “O Death” secrets. Players who uncover all five collectibles can access the mysterious video tease.

According to reports from players who unlocked the sequence, the teaser displays several cryptic messages across the screen, including “YOUARENOTSAFE,” “ITKNOWSYOU,” and “TOBECONTINUED.” The video also flashes multiple years including 1988, 2019, 2028, and 2029.

While Supermassive Games has not officially confirmed the project by name in the teaser, fans believe the footage is connected to The Craven Man, a previously trademarked title tied to The Dark Pictures Anthology: Season Two.

The Craven Man has long been rumored to center on folk-horror themes involving isolated communities, ritualistic practices, and sacrificial mythology. The newly discovered teaser has only intensified speculation surrounding the project.

The Dark Pictures Anthology is Supermassive Games’ ongoing series of standalone cinematic horror titles built around branching narratives and player-driven choices. Each installment follows a different cast of characters facing supernatural or psychological threats while the mysterious Curator oversees events.

Season Two officially began with Directive 8020, a science-fiction horror entry set aboard a colony ship dealing with a shapeshifting alien organism. The game also introduced several gameplay changes for the anthology series, including expanded movement systems, stealth mechanics, and deeper environmental exploration.
