Tekken 8 modes customization

For starters, life gauges and panel bars will be customizable in Tekken 8. Additionally, Harada mentioned that the Jukebox mode will be making a return in Tekken 8. A new Arcade Quest mode, which is independent of the game’s story mode, will offer a recreation of the arcade player’s competitive lifestyle from the arcade days. It’s here that players will learn everything they need to know about playing Tekken 8. The Ghost CPU mode will also be making its return, and it will feature an AI-enhanced ghost versions of yourself.

Regarding the recent Closed Network Test, Harada stated that feedback from participants was more positive than expected. He added that the development team will further improve the netcode, especially for WiFi players.

Previously, Twitter user ALumia_Italia, who has shared similar leaks before, revealed that Tekken 8 has been added to the Microsoft Store database with a release date of January 26, 2024.

This falls close to the previously expected release window of February-March. In its Financial Report for the First Quarter of the Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2024, Bandai Namco Entertainment had shared that it was planning to release major titles, including Naruto X Boruto, in the second half of the Fiscal Year. While Tekken 8 wasn’t specifically mentioned, it is indeed a major upcoming title for the publisher, and, therefore, is highly likely to be included in the mentioned major releases.

Tekken 8 is an upcoming fighting game co-developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Serving as the eighth primary and overall tenth addition to the Tekken series, it is set for release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and the Xbox Series X and Series S platforms.
