Tekken 8 Update 1.007 Released With Minor Buffs and Nerfs To Major Characters

The most recent update for Tekken 8, Version 1.007, brings a host of adjustments and new content designed to enhance the overall gameplay experience. This patch places significant emphasis on balancing character moves, addressing software bugs, and introducing new customization options. In particular, it introduces new costume packs and avatar items to the Tekken Shop, as well as a replay feature for the Tekken Ball mode. In addition, numerous moves across various characters have been modified to promote gameplay balance.

These adjustments are part of an ongoing initiative to refine the game’s mechanics and ensure an equitable and engaging experience for all players. The update also encompasses important updates to online replays, rendering them incompatible with pre-update data.

New Items Added to the Tekken Shop:
- New costume packs: ‘Hibiscus Pack’ and ‘The Wildfire Pack’ available for each playable character.
- Avatar customization items: ‘Summer Set.’
- One free character customization item: ‘Hook-and-Loop Sneakers.’
Feature Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Added “TEKKEN BALL REPLAYS” under “ONLINE REPLAY.”
  - Replays can now be viewed for online matches of “TEKKEN BALL” played in the “BEACH AREA” of the “TEKKEN FIGHT LOUNGE.”
  - “TEKKEN BALL REPLAYS” can be accessed from “ONLINE REPLAY.”
  - Personal “TEKKEN BALL” online match replays can also be viewed from “MY REPLAY & TIPS.” (Note: Various TIPS will not be displayed.)
- Other miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes implemented.
Character Balance Adjustments:
- Common (Behavior Adjustments):
  - Various adjustments made to character moves, focusing on reducing issues like whiffing in certain situations and improving overall balance.
  - Specific adjustments made to moves like Rage Art, Heat Burst, Heat Dash, and others for multiple characters.
  - Damage values, hitboxes, and other properties of moves were refined across several characters.
Scope of Update:
- Replay data from before the update will be unavailable for playback.
- Character behavior and move properties in modes like ‘SUPER GHOST BATTLE’ and ‘GHOST MATCH’ will reflect the post-update state.
