Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the release of Tekken 8 Update 2.06.02, now rolling out across all platforms. This latest patch delivers several character behavior fixes, corrections to move names, and replay-related adjustments following the previous version, 2.06.01. The update will render pre-existing replay data incompatible while ensuring that character performance and behavioral tweaks are reflected in ghost data for Super Ghost Battle, Ghost Match, and Ghost vs Ghost modes.
In addition to gameplay refinements, the maintenance accompanying this update temporarily disables all online features. Bandai Namco also confirmed that the next major update will be version 2.08, scheduled for early December. Players are encouraged to re-record replays and test character adjustments once maintenance concludes.
