Low Ray Tracing performance on Intel GPUs.

PlayStation 5 version of the expansions are unavailable in some regions

Aside from the above, here are some general tips that might improve your experience / understanding of how the update works:

Following the release of Patch 4.0, players have access to two versions of the game:

  • The DirectX 12 Version
This version includes all graphical improvements and Ray Tracing features.
  • The DirectX 11 Version
This version has no Ray Tracing support and lacks some of the general graphical improvements introduced in the free Next-Gen Update, therefore the performance here may differ even if comparing with the same preset run on DirectX 12 Version.

Players with less powerful hardware who experience performance issues might want to consider playing the game using the DirectX 11 Version.

An alternative temporary solution for issues with Ray Tracing for PC players on GOG and Steam is rolling back to an earlier version of the game. This will also allow running the game with mods that are no longer compatible with the game, but please bear in mind that only the latest version of the game is officially supported. Should you encounter any issues on an older version of the game, make sure to update it first. Here’s how to do it:

Finally, if you used some gameplay mods on the previous version of the game and want to experience the latest update it is recommended to start a new game.
