Transformers: Rise Cut Scenes Allegedly Leaked Ahead Of Announcement

Cut scenes from the long-time rumored Transformers: Rise game, that is allegedly developed by Certain Affinity, have been leaked ahead of an official announcement.

YouTuber DpzLuna has shared what appear to be leaked cut scenes from the unannounced Transformers: Rise game that is allegedly in development at Certain Affinity. They claim to have obtained this footage from an undisclosed source.

The first cut scene from the Transformers: Rise campaign story shows the Decepticons being in possession of a recorded message from Autobot leader Optimus Prime. His message ends abruptly as he is about to reveal his last known coordinates. As a result, the Decepticons aren’t able to gather a whole lot from the incomplete recording. Starscream is once again seen scheming a devious plot of his own, as the other Decepticons remain occupied with their search for Optimus Prime.

Both Optimus and Starscream mention a new threat that has put both sides of the robots in disguise in great danger. As Starscream looks towards Shockwave, who appears to be in charge of the Decepticon operation, he wonders of his motivation and whether he admires the new enemies.

In the second cut scenes, the Autobots are seen discussing nanomachines that have created this new threat that they’re up against. It appears these nanomachines can also be used to infect other technology. Both sides are dealing with an intelligent virus, and the implication of what this thing could do is terrifying to the Autobots.

The last major Transformers game was Transformers: Battleground, which was made available for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 23, 2020. Since Activision’s previous game development license expired, this is the first game in the series to be released on consoles and PC. Battlegrounds, dubbed a “tactical warfare adventure” game, is based on the Cyberverse franchise and uses voice actors and character designs from the accompanying animated series.
